It's widely acknowledged that these are tough times for estate agents and the global economy.
After consultation with many of our estate agent clients, we're advising along the following lines;
- Consolidate your advertising costs (reduce print ad sizes, haggle for better rates, come out of some publications all together such as hotproperty, fish4homes etc)
- Rotate your window displays weekly
- Keep your websites up to date
- Take fresh photos of existing properties in your portfolio and make your write-ups as interesting as possible
- Consider broadcast email marketing to attract new business
- Make sure your website has high 'local' search engine visibility
- Send out touting letters regularly pushing alternative services such as lettings or financial advice
- Become an authority in your area (conduct local market research and publish the results on your blog) It's about keeping an open dialogue with your customers).
- Use this quite time to re-evaluate your business model, for staff training exercises and staff evaluation. Changing the way you do business, terms and conditions and staffing; trimming the fat, whilst maintaining a lean and mean sales team.
Assuring you of our best attention at all times,
